5. For some strang reason this Bush has me nuts.
It is like he is in a movie and we always win just because we have a big army. We can go through History and put up the great army of each Empire and then show it is in the WAS list and not the NOW list.I recall in college I was on a debating team and we had to debate Plato's thoughts against Ceasar's army and I had to be on Ceasor's side. Drove me nuts as we know who wins in any case like this.Dem will come to the Mid-East when the people wish it and not by us killing them off so we can control their govt.We are just killing them and our selfs off for something these people will do by them selfs when they feel like it.This is an election thing to get Bush in and hand off bus. to his friends, and control the oil. Vietnam is a point to look at. We lost 58000 and they losr 2 M and now they are just where they wished to be and better off then when we controled the old rulers. It is madness at it's best.

7. At least some reports combine the stories! Thanks, Don
Too often, we get the stories is bits and pieces, not as a whole view of the war. You don't think maybe someone doesn't WANT us to put the whole picture together, do you? :tinfoilhat:

9. You are more than welcome Maeve
I get confused too. All the time. The violence in Iraq appears to be spreading, so I expect this confusion will only get worse in the coming weeks. We never learn.

6. And king george* the second
won't go to these funerals either. The Italians took a big hit today also, I think they'll show more sense and get out long before we do.
It's getting harder to respond to these threads, what can one say? Another life snuffed out for a bunch of brain dead asswipes, and not many people seem to care.
I know there are a core of posters who respond to these threads, and that they care, but it's discouraging that these headlines aren't screamed out in big red letters daily.
Soon we'll have holidays coming up and people will be going about their business, parties, dinners, spending money, and more and more americans will be dying once again in a distant land.
Fuck just a small head shaking fuck.
