EX-FEMA boss says he was made a scapegoat

WASHINGTON -- The disgraced former boss of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) testified in a Senate investigation today into the government's disastrous response to Hurricane Katrina, shifting the blame to other top government officials and telling the panel that he feels "abandoned" by the Bush administration.

Michael Brown, who quit as chief of FEMA just days after Katrina devastated much of the Gulf Coast area, had indicated a willingness to reveal his communications with President George W. Bush and other top officials as the disaster unfolded.

...

However, Senator Norm Coleman, a Republican from Minnesota, countered that Brown simply didn't provide leadership.

In a combative exchange, the former disaster chief said he resented such accusations. Brown says he made mistakes but did everything he could to try and deal with the suffering.

4. Aww, that's too bad..
Po'thang. But he shouldn't have ben surprised that he got bitten by a snake. After all, he was in the midst of a viper's nest. I seem to recall that he was more worried about how fashionable he appeared.

5. After all the people HE BLAMED when it was HIS RESPONSIBILTIY.
Gee. I bet he's talking about the press, NO politicians, and the people of NO since it was his job.

Remember he blamed all of them instead of taking responsiblity.

12. Bush hired incompetents on purpose
because he wants to destroy the US Government.

Of course, this is treason but most people can't handle accepting that the US is in the hands of traitors.
