U.S. contractors kill 2 Iraqis
Security workers taken into custody

BAGHDAD -- Private security workers under contract with the State Department shot and killed two Iraqi civilians Tuesday in the restive northern city of Kirkuk, police, U.S. officials and relatives of the dead said Wednesday.

...

In Kirkuk, gunmen in a convoy of three dark-colored GMC sport-utility vehicles opened fire on a taxi north of downtown, killing two men, both ethnic Kurds, Capt. Honer Ahmed of the Kirkuk police said.

"Contract security personnel employed by the Department of State were involved in an aggressive vehicle incident on Feb. 7 in Rahimawa neighborhood of Kirkuk," the U.S. Embassy said in a statement. "Two civilians died, and one was injured. We've launched an investigation and it is ongoing."

The embassy would not name the security company.

4. Our mercenaries are now killing Kurds?
Way to make friends, morons!

Next time I see the charred bodies of American mercenaries strung up from a bridge in Iraq, I will not feel pity for them.

6. I bet your average Iraqi dosen't care
whether a family member is killed by a dirty, money grubbing merc or a hometown hero doing his duty for his nation by serving in uniform.

They're basically the same and the destruction they sow is the same.

The only difference is mercs are smart enough to work for good money, nice benefits and have no delusionsal fantasies about the so called honor of their job.
