Limbaugh Lawyer Wants Prosecutor Cited in Leak to Media

Apparently some leaks are very, very, very serious indeed AND an affront to the judicial process:


An attorney for Rush Limbaugh wants the Palm Beach state attorney's office to be held in contempt, alleging a prosecutor violated a court order by leaking information about the radio commentator's medical records to the Daily Business Review.

The motion filed Oct. 7 by Miami attorney Roy Black, who represents the conservative talk show host, also asks the court to determine the source of the leak and to return Limbaugh's medical records "to ensure that the state does not leak them to the press again."

In the contempt motion, Black lashed out at the state, accusing the prosecution of leaking information in violation of a protective order imposed June 24 by Circuit Judge Thomas Barkdull III. He accused the state of engaging in a pattern of leaks.

10. I hate Rush Limbaugh

I got out of the hospital last week and was given my very own prescription of Oxycontin. Just enough to last me 10 days. The first day I got them, more than half of them were stolen from the bottle. It was either the home health nurse or someone at the physical therapy office.

But thanks to some asshole's need to get their fix, I'm going to be in uncontrolled pain for about a week.

I'd love to find out who did it and shove a hot poker up their ass so they too will know how it feels to have uncontrolled pain. Rush and his ilk should all have to know how it feels.

Wow, I think this just might be the meanest thing I ever said. But I'm in pain, so whatever.

Boy, was I in a bad mood when I wrote that. I did call a friend of mine who is a cop and he took a report, but I know it's unlikely anything will come of it. Made me feel a little better, though. The good news is that my doc said that if I need more, I can get more (to a point, of course) since I am careful with them.
