Earth to COPE - You are out of touch

Well at least someone agrees (Even if it is an NPA member) with me that COPE should worry about running the city instead of runnng the world.
I wish I could post the article based more on the motion by COPE, but the Sun didn't put that on their website.

NPA Coun. Sam Sullivan says his political foes on council are on another planet for passing a motion opposing weapons in space.

"Earth to COPE -- you are out of touch," he said yesterday.

"The ideology of this council is driving things and it's not being in touch with reality."

Sullivan said a Non-Partisan Association motion to remove squatters from city land was delayed Tuesday -- but the Coalition of Progressive Electors majority found the time to vote in favour of urging Canada to sign the UN Space Preservation Treaty.
