1. Bush *should have known* but I actually believe it when he says

he didn't "know" because the guy does not have a fucking brain, so NOTHING absolutely NOTHING registers. No matter what you say, do, show. Flatline. Flatline. Flatline.

One forecaster mentioned the storm was 'evolving' in the warm waters of the Gulf. We all know that is merely a theory, nothing that we could have done, out of our hands. Pray, that's how to handle such a situation.
