today and avoiding NYC subways and busses, and is really pissed that the esteemed Dept. of Homeland Security, which raised security during the election on years old data, is not raising security now.

14. Was the Terror level raised after Madrid?
The slightest whisper could cause the terror level to be raised last year, but that was election season.

A major international city is bombed and nothing is done to the threat level.

Was the threat level raised after the Madrid bombing?

I heard one report on ABC News Radio say that New York was already at an orange level alert so no raising of the terror alert level was needed. Aren't there subways in Washington, D.C., Boston, etc????
