4. So what?
Our Vice President says we'll be out by 2009 and the insurgency is in its last throes. We're winning! Go Team America!

Of course, they also said there were weapons of mass destruction.

2. Starting the week off with a bang. I bet Chimpy will personally spend time
praying with the soldier's family (he DID say that was what he did on a regular basis).

We need to get them out of there ASAP.

6. And Chimpy's probably crying too......
yeah, that's right - he's a crier. Such a soft-hearted man. The killing in his name continues. All for him and his rich oil buddies.

7. RIP soldier
Another life sacrificed on the altar of the neo-con's war-without-end-amen trail.

I met a woman this weekend that said that she had voted for *Co because he was the lesser of two evils.

I asked her how she felt about that now and she just looked at me in confusion.

I asked her if she was undisturbed by the loss of 1670 military in an illegal war and she was genuinely suprised to know that so many lives had been lost - she didn't even know how many had died as of last November(over 1,000).

It seems that as long as our media can continue to downplay the truth about the cost of this war, no one will know, no will ask and no one will care.

"Support our Troops" is empty rhetoric and blindly stupid. Bring them home, now.

8. And the beat goes on...
...the beat of a muffled drum, followed by a riderless horse.:(

As Iraq slides into Civil War, I can't help but to think of the vanity of each death. There's a special place in hell for the architects of this war - the men responsible for all the deaths on BOTH sides of this conflict...:grr:
