Children quizzed over murder bid (11 and 12 years old, UK story)

"Four children have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a five-year-old boy from Dewsbury suffered neck injuries.

The boy, from the Chickenley area, is thought to have been hurt in woods in nearby Earlsheaton on Tuesday.

He is "stable" at Dewsbury and District Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, police said.

Two 11-year-old girls, a 12-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy were arrested. All remain in custody."
