Nine Iraqis killed, three injured in US air raid
BAGHDAD, May 19 (KUNA) -- Nine Iraqis were killed and three injured as a result of air raid by United States aircrafts directed at outlawed gunmen in Mosul on Thursday, said medical sources.

The sources explained, in press statements, that US aircraft had raided Al-Falah neighborhood in Mosul in northern Iraq after the house of Iraq's General Assembly member Fawaz Al-Jerba was attacked by unknown gunmen.

Although Al-Jarba had safely escaped the attack, the killed persons were some of his personal guards.

According to witnesses, the US forces surrounded the strike's area as ambulances transferred the wounded to a nearby medical center.
