Insurgents attack Iraqi oil pumps after day of deadly attacks (Kirkuk)

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Insurgents in Iraq have unleashed another attack on the country's oil facilities.

An official with Iraq's Northern Oil Company says attackers have blown up pumps used for domestic supplies near Kirkuk. No injuries are reported.

Two militant attacks yesterday killed at least 29 people in Baghdad and Tikrit.

In the Baghdad attack, a second suicide car bomber drove into a crowd of people rushing to help the victims of an earlier blast.

Iraqi soldiers and civilians stand at the scene of a burning oil pipeline following an attack in the Bay Hassan area near the northern city of Kirkuk April 25, 2005. Militants frequently attack Iraq's oil infrastructure as part of efforts to disrupt the country's reconstruction. Oil exports are Iraq's major source of foreign income. REUTERS/Showan Rasheed

1. If you really want to put a bug up the NeoCon ass..
take out the oilfields. To NeoCons, that's more upsetting than soldiers being killed or maimed.

The oilfields were the primary purpose of this 'liberation'.

Nice job, insurgents!

4. The primary purpose of the 'liberation' was to secure the oilfields
for Iraq's use?

Is this really what you meant, because it's what you fairly unambiguously implied.

3. They must want to free themselves from Bu$h`s cannon fodder also.
Must be real freedom they want and not Bu$h`s end of a gun freedom. End of the gun freedom is like Bu$h`s worthless words. They mean nothing but shut up and let us steal your oil.
