"A bomb targeting Western contract workers exploded on Thursday on the road to Baghdad's airport, killing two people, Iraqi police said.

The bomb blast hit a car carrying the contractors, but the nationality of those killed was unknown, a police spokesman said.

U.S. troops blocked the highway, one of the most dangerous stretches of road in Iraq, following the blast. Three foreign contractors were killed in an attack on the same road on Wednesday.

Al Qaeda Organization for Holy War in Iraq claimed the attack in an Internet statement."

important road in Iraq? It's been two years!

1. I question if many of the "suicide" attacks are actually not. aWol trying to make the Iraqis look psychotic.

2. "Al Qaeda Organization for Holy War in Iraq claimed the attack in an Internet statement". I don't watch TV, only internet news. I've never seen an explanation of how these "internet statements" are made. Can someone inform me of the exact details how they do this! THanks

3. First, you get an internet provider in Texas...
Sometimes London or Los Angeles. At least that's what I have heard of so far, when anyone has tracked these down. But, like you, I think the details of this would be most fascinating.
