It's official—Raw Story Media has just launched its own radio network, and the first show will go on air tonight. We just got confirmation today! But we need your help—Raw Radio will start listener-supported. To listen, read below.

Raw Radio brings you Brad Friedman of BradBlog.com, the investigative blogger who first unearthed the claim of a Florida programmer who alleged that a now-sitting congressman asked him to develop a vote-rigging prototype. He'll have that programmer—Clint Curtis—on the air with him tonight. Also on air will be Andy Stephenson, who has investigated alleged e-voting fraud; Raw Story Deputy Managing Editor Larisa Alexandrovna, who's covered Ohio's electoral irregularities and the troubled Baker-Carter 'election reform' commission; and Robert Koehler, a columnist and editor for Tribune Media Syndicate.

I think this definitely qualifies as LBN. A "NEW" radio outlet providing current progressive ideas and comments should be what we are all about.

5. Awesome.. truth media is growing like crazy!

from AAR to Ed Shultz.. I said it once.. I've said it a hundred times... "there is a market for the truth", and the 1st major TV outlet to figure this out will take the market by storm! Stories showing PNAC and election fraud and pound the facts out daily... that will get me off the blogs and back into the lazyboy for my news!

Gore is starting something too.. sundance has been showing great documentaries for a long time... I support these ventures as best I can, I hope you all do too!!

12. It is more than that...

We are hoping, cross fingers, that each of us who have relationships in the blogging world can pull bloggers that we know into an interview or just to chat... this is from us, the people who give you the news, to you, the people who need to talk from outside of the blogosphere.

Andy and I are actually going to have our own show, should we raise enough funds, which will pull have time in it where we pull a random DUer on air to say hello and get their thoughts and views on current events, whatever. We want to have open mic poetry on this, alternative music, etc. This is not just progressives talking... this is us "moving" baby.

I wonder how much it costs to advertise. I would love to support the raw story people but wouldn't it be great if we could find out how much advertising is and perhaps we could all give money to Skinner and he could advertise DU! We would still be supporting Raw Story but we would also be advertising to get more like minded people here. Just a thought...maybe my idea is too far out there? What do you think?

In my opinion Guy gives way too much time to the rabid right callers which is not good for my mental health so I have to click off at the first call.
