BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Two bomb attacks on U.S. and Iraqi forces in Baghdad Friday killed one civilian and wounded seven people and left the bodies of several civilians strewn in a street, police and witnesses said.

2. I'm a little confused here

It says ONE was killed, yet bodIES were left strewn in the street?

Were they LIVE bodies? If so, don't we usually refer to live bodies as 'people' rather than 'bodies'?

3. I am guessing we are witnessing Chaos in Iraq

therefore the reporting is less than informative because those reporting never "see" any of these attacks. They are safely (so far) ensconced in the GZ. I think the Iraqi stringers working for the Western News affiliates pass along this information and something or a lot of things get lost in translation.

Sadly we don't have the reporters like we did during the Vietnam War that were out there giving video coverage nightly. It is what we need to wake ameriKa up.
