Reid touring Mideast
while Cheney was in Reno, Nevada stumping for Bush's SS death plans.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid spent Tuesday in Iraq, talking to the country’s leaders, U.S. soldiers and looking at everyday life on the streets, where one image stood out.

“The guns,” he said. “Every place you went, there were people with guns. Men, women, young people and middle-aged people. It was remarkable.”

But Reid, touring Iraq two years after the U.S. invasion, also saw progress and said the U.S. should stay until the insurgents are defeated and democracy is established.

“I feel there is some hope that things will turn out OK,” he said.

Reid, leader of Senate Democrats and a frequent critic of President Bush, also called Iraq’s economy a “mess,” the government divided and said rebuilding the country could take “years.”

1. Shameless kick, we all need to know where our leader stands on Iraq!!!
It is not a coincidence that he started the Terry Bill and left the next day for Iraq ...which was the day before the anti war protests ...and now he says we need to stay there cuz of terrorism???

This male chauvinist pig -- and member of a cult religion -- is not a democrat. He is working for the other side.

3. He sounds lost, confused, contradicting himself, almost delusional.
"(T)here is some hope that things (presumably, this "mess") will turn out OK"? Someone please help this man.

5. I am getting a little bit concerned about Reid ...
and whether we have a "sell out" on our hands afterall...first he came on real strong and then he joined on with the bankruptcy bill, he looked the other way on the wild mustang issue, and now this. Oh, wait, his stand on the Schiavo deal, he pushes the right to life stand and splits for the middle east and supports the war??? What the Feck is up, Harry?? What was the deal that was made with Bush to back off on Yucca Mountain so it would be so close the rich side of Las Vegas?
