Danish capital loses power
The UK's BBC News reports that:

"the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and parts of southern Sweden were hit by massive power cuts on Tuesday.

At least four millions homes and businesses lost supplies after a storm swept through the area.

Electricity officials said the problems started when a main transmission line connecting Sweden and Denmark was affected.

At least two Swedish nuclear plants then developed production problems and had to shut down some of their power-production units.Sabotage was not suspected, officials said.

The blackout follows similar incidents in London earlier this month, and in a huge swathe of North America in August."
