Bullet-riddled bodies of police chief’s sons found in Iraq(Najaf)

KARBALA, Iraq - The bodies of two kidnapped sons of Najaf police chief were found riddled with bullets in central Iraq on Friday as the Shiite mourning period of Ashura began.

“The bodies of Haidar and Baha al-Jazaeri were found at 10 am (0700 GMT) in Hindiya district, 10 kilometres (six miles) north of Karbala,” a police source said. “The two bodies had their hands tied and were riddled with bullets.”

In Najaf, police chief general Ghaleb al-Jazaeri confirmed his sons’ deaths and told AFP they had both been kidnapped recently. Haidar was a lieutenant in Najaf police force while Baha ran his own business, he added.

The general, a controversial figure who publicly accused Syria of involvement in a December bombing that killed 52 people in the holy city of Najaf, refrained from accusing any group of the kidnapping and killing

... and I thought Najaf was all tidied up! :eyes:

1. I was wrong
If this is the same Allawi's goon that murdered Sadrists on behalf of US. I thought he would not live long, I was wrong. The revenge was even worse than getting killed...

And timing of the revenge is also most interesting... exile in Miami or death in Iraq, mr Allawi?

2. It is prettey hard to tell at this point
who is killing whom. Remeber we have our SA contractors, The CIA goons and Rummy's SS all there doing their thing. Who the fuck knows what is happening. I do know the more chaos the better for the US. The Iraqis will beg for them to stay and bring "stability"! Ha!

3. don' forget Syrian, Iranian groups
and Israeli's of course. Each group is potentially infiltrated and/or manipulated.
That's the nice thing with war on terror. Murders, explosions everywhere but you never know for sure who is committing them.

4. Please remember
Iraq had nothing to do with "the war on terra" until aWol**s ill advised invasion and occupation. Now we have ourselves another Afghanistan.
