Cops: NJ Chemist's Death Was Murder

NEW YORK (CBS) There are new developments in the case of the missing chemist found dead last week inside a NJ water tank.

The Passaic County prosecutor is now saying that the investigation into the death of Geetha Angara, the chemist found at the bottom of a huge water tank at the Passaic Valley Water Commission, is now a murder investigation.

This comes after his office got the results of an autopsy performed on her body. Passaic County Prosecutor James Avigliano says the 43-year-old woman was pushed into a water tank where she drowned while she was taking a water quality test.

Meanwhile, there is now a heavy police presence at the Passaic Valley Water Commission.

Whether this was due to a personal/work conflict or something bigger -- it's a frightening case. A bunch of scientists I know were commenting on how easy it would be to off any one of them and make it look like a field or lab accident. (The risks I used to take, climbing antenna masts to service weather equipment, etc.!)

like in the dark, damp, rat-infested basement of a centuries old manufacturing business. and along the outflow of a retention pond where I almost stepped into a muskrat trap.

8. The Iraqi ambassador in Cairo, Ahmad al-Iraqi was the one making the

Zionist connection. I doubt Israel had anything to do with it, it's just some ambASSador blowing hot air. Plus the fact that many of these scientists were Jews. The Marconi connection is the creepiest and that should be looked into. I don't know if this company has anything to do with Israel or not.

Usually, this would be attributed to an accident. I wonder why this was allowed to fly.

But I wonder more about what she found.
