Cheney Hints U.S. to Need More Iraq Funds
WASHINGTON - Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) said Sunday he does not know when the U.S. military presence in Iraq (news - web sites) will end and hinted the Bush administration would seek more money than the $87 billion already requested to cover U.S. costs there.

"How long does it take? I don't know. I can't say. I don't think anybody can say with absolute certainty at this point," Cheney said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Amid a rising U.S. casualty count in Iraq and continuing attacks and other resistance, the administration has faced criticism for its postwar strategy.

Despite those doubts, Cheney said the U.S. occupation is seeing "major success, major progress" in Iraq.

2. Cheney is absolutely the wrong man to be asking for those funds.
But as they say, never interrupt an opponent when he's making a mistake.

3. hey Unca Dick
why don't you have your olf pals at Halliburon cough up the cash? Seeing how you're "rewarding" them with so many no bid contracts, they should be able to clean up Iraq all by themselves... :eyes:

This will be to much to take...even the freeps won't stand for anything MORE after the $87 billion pledge drive

4. "WARRIOR" CHENEY IS LIKE A CRACK SMOKER NEEDING A FIX
Is anyone as outraged as I am over this???

$87,000,000,000.00 (new money) to blow the crap out of a country that has all the demeanor of a homeless drunk and panhandler on the streets of D. C.

I guess we have NO---

1. Children to educate in the U.S.

2. Seniors who need prescription drugs.

3. Unemployed workers here.

4. Veterans of this or prior Wars to take care of.

5. Crumbling infastructure to fix.

6. Electrical or water grid problems.

7. Problems with social security.

8. Lagging economy with 2 million fewer jobs than 3 years ago.

Ho- Hum what uncaring scum ---Cheney, Wolfie and the CHIMP.
