Let Bin Laden stay free, says CIA man AB “Buzzy” Krongard

Tony Allen-Mills

...

If the world’s most wanted terrorist is captured or killed, a power struggle among his Al-Qaeda subordinates may trigger a wave of terror attacks, said AB “Buzzy” Krongard, who stepped down six weeks ago as the CIA’s third most senior executive.

“You can make the argument that we’re better off with him (at large),” Krongard said. “Because if something happens to Bin Laden, you might find a lot of people vying for his position and demonstrating how macho they are by unleashing a stream of terror.”

Krongard, a former investment banker who joined the CIA in 1998, said Bin Laden’s role among Islamic militants was changing. “He’s turning into more of a charismatic leader than a terrorist mastermind,” he said. “Some of his lieutenants are the ones to worry about.” Krongard, 68, said he viewed Bin Laden “not as a chief executive but more like a venture capitalist”.

...

Several US officials have privately admitted that it may be better to keep Bin Laden pinned down on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan rather than make him a martyr or put him on trial. But Krongard is the most senior figure to acknowledge publicly that his capture might prove counter-productive.

Krongard also acknowledged that the CIA was still having trouble planting spies in Islamic militant ranks. “There are hundreds and hundreds of (Al-Qaeda) cells — it’s like a living, moving bit of protoplasm,” he said.

He's one of the sons-of-bitches linked to Deutsche Bank and the mysterious trading of put options on 9/11.

9. Ah, they're everywhere, they're everywhere!
Be afraid! Jiggling protoplasm!

The US repeatedly calls bin Laden the leader; people who have been watching the Islamist movement for a long time think Ayman al-Zawahiri is the brains of bin Laden's group, while bin Laden is basically the money man.

At least Krongard as much as admits this. But his logic is faulty--there won't be many power plays, as he suggests. If there's a "stream of terror," it will be because they've found weaknesses to exploit.

And, he's right about not being able to find many suitable spies. I recall an article some time ago about that difficulty--if you were a new face in the poorer sections of Islamabad, regardless of skin color, you could hear the eyeballs clicking everywhere.

He's just wrong (or disingenuous) about this being a well-coordinated, huge movement, with a distinct structure that might encourage a battle for power. There are lots of fundamentalists in small groups looking for either legitimacy within Islam or money to carry out their plans.

So much has been made in the last two years of Ansar al-Islam, for example. They're pretty typical--they're the Islamic equivalent of fundamentalist rednecks who wanted legitimacy, wanted bin Laden to fund them and train them. And, basically, got turned down.

On his basic point, though, Krongard is being deceptive, I think. What makes terrorism possible is money. Osama bin Laden is the money man. Not just because he's wealthy himself, but because he is also a conduit for money other than his own. Manage to grab him, and the money flow slows down, which means pending operations slow down. That's why people such as John O'Neill and Richard Clarke wanted him, and badly.

Cheers.

I wonder why no legal eagle has challenged this administration on such grounds?

Does a facility intended to intentionally manipulate a human will, whether by torture or otherwise, violate U.S. or international law?

He was completely wrong on Iran when he helped lead us into that disaster. He was wrong in SE Asia, but we don't know how wrong, since the files on his activities there are "sealed."
I am pretty sure he was with GHWB41 in the early 60;s

And possibly he is the fucking asshole who thought supporting Bin Laden against the Russians was a good idea too.

until now except for name in articles linked to put options where someone made some money off of AA, UA, and a couple of investment bankers/brokers going down.

Then, Ashcroft quietly announces that there is nothing to their investigation into the put options. Nothing.

Ashcroft resigns.

Buzzy resigns/retires.

Time to pick up the money.....

or....

is something coming down the pike?

Of course, if he, Buzzy, is involved, that last person you would want to torture for information is bin Laden. Because he is their partner.

13. The CIA and Riggs Bank
...

what may be the common denominator shared by Riggs, the Saudis, the Africans, and the South Americans: the Central Intelligence Agency

Citing unnamed U.S. government officials and people familiar with Riggs operations, Simpson reports that the bank has enjoyed a "relationship" with the CIA for some time. "That relationship, which included top current and former Riggs executives receiving U.S. government security clearances, could complicate any prosecution of the bank's officials, according to private lawyers and former prosecutors," he writes. By "complicate" one can safely assume that Simpson means "make impossible." He writes:

The relationship with the CIA could prove problematic because it could cast a different light on the bank's dealings with two U.S. foreign-policy allies, former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet and Prince Bandar bin Sultan, Saudi ambassador to Washington.

Given the intelligence connections to Riggs, prosecutors could be faced with proving that the bank's failure to disclose financial activity by the foreign officials wasn't implicitly authorized by parts of the U.S. government.

Bandar briefed Treasury Secretary John Snow in early 2003 about the work he'd done for the CIA, Simpson notes. The parapolitical credits on the prince's resume include funding the Contras at the behest of the White House, supporting the Afghan rebels against the Soviet Union, and serving as a go-between in the mending of the Libya-U.S. relationship. The CIA worked with Pinochet through his secret police chief, Manuel Contreras, Simpson reports, adding that Contreras banked at Riggs as recently as 1979.

23. A.B. “Buzzy” Krongard
But Krongard exhibited the requisite secretiveness when asked
to explain his interest in intelligence and how he came to land
a job in Tenet's inner circle. If you go back to the CIA's origins
during World War II in the Office of Strategic Services, he
explained, "the whole OSS was really nothing but Wall Street
bankers and lawyers."

Supressed Details of Criminal Insider Trading Lead Directly into the CIA’s Highest Ranks
CIA Executive Director “Buzzy” Krongard managed firm that handled “PUT” options on United Airline Stock
by Michael C. Ruppert

FTW - October 9, 2001 – Although uniformly ignored by the mainstream U.S. media, there is abundant and clear evidence that a number of transactions in financial
markets indicated specific (criminal) foreknowledge of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. In the case of at least one of these
trades -- which has left a $2.5 million prize unclaimed -- the firm used to place the “put options” on United Airlines stock was, until 1998, managed by the man who is
now in the number three Executive Director position at the Central Intelligence Agency.

Until 1997 A.B. “Buzzy” Krongard had been Chairman of the investment bank A.B. Brown. A.B. Brown was acquired by Banker’s Trust in 1997. Krongard then
became, as part of the merger, Vice Chairman of Banker’s Trust-AB Brown, one of 20 major U.S. banks named by Senator Carl Levin this year as being connected
to money laundering. Krongard’s last position at Banker’s Trust (BT) was to oversee “private client relations.” In this capacity he had direct hands-on relations with
some of the wealthiest people in the world in a kind of specialized banking operation that has been identified by the U.S. Senate and other investigators as being
closely connected to the laundering of drug money.

Krongard joined the CIA in 1998 as counsel to CIA Director George Tenet. He was promoted to CIA Executive Director by President
Bush in March of this year. BT was acquired by Deutsche Bank in 1999. The combined firm is the single largest bank in Europe. And,
as we shall see, Deutsche Bank played several key roles in events connected to the September 11 attacks.

Follow the Money: Bush, 9/11, and Deep Threat

by Fran Shor
Published on Wednesday, May 22, 2002 by CommonDreams.org

The CIA and Other Deep Pockets

In the immediate aftermath of 9/11 a number of news stories appeared concerning investments in “put” options in United and American Airlines. Put options are shares that are bets on falling market prices for specific stocks. In the week before September 11 put options in United and American Airlines went through a furious and unprecedented spasm of investment. In addition put options for Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, two of the biggest occupants of the World Trade Center, also saw abnormal activity. Most of the investments in these put options originated in Germany through the Deutsche Bank. Deutshce Bank had earlier acquired Banker’s Trust, a investment banking firm whose Vice Chairman in charge of “private client relations” in the late 1990’s was A. B. “Buzzy” Krongard. In March of 2001, Krongard was appointed Executive Director of the CIA.

Certainly, the CIA has a history of laundering money and dealings with shady investment characters. What becomes particularly relevant in the lead-up to 9/11 is the August CIA briefing of Bush concerning the potential threat of attacks by bin Laden using hijacked planes on certain sites, such as the Pentagon and World Trade Center, and the fact that the CIA had bugging equipment on bin Laden messages and international banking operations. Although no one has apparently claimed the money from the put options, questions remain about Krongard and the CIA’s involvement.

THE CIA CONFIRMS FTW's MAP --
We Were Right!

NEW CIA UNIVERSITY
REVEALS AGENCY PRIORITIES
July 3, 2002,-- 17:00 PDT (FTW) -- The CIA is now operating a university somewhere in northern Virginia. According to an entry in a June 24 newsletter published by an association of former intelligence officers, some of the courses taught at the university are "economic trends, international banking, the world oil market, and how the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Trade Organization, etc. and other non-governmental organizations work."

For four years FTW has been teaching that the CIA's primary role, it's raison d'etre, was to serve the interests of Wall Street and the major banks. In our recent three-country lecture tour, our documentation of the close links between CIA and Wall Street has taken many by surprise. Thirty years ago Professor Peter Dale Scott of Berkeley disclosed that six out of the first seven deputy directors of intelligence (CIA's number two position) had gone directly from Wall Street into service at the Agency. Since Sept. 11, FTW's disclosure that the CIA's current executive director, A.B. "Buzzy" Krongard, is a former investment banker has caused deeper rumbles. The firm he once headed, AlexBrown/Deutschebank, has been connected to insider trading on United Air Lines stock just before the Sept. 11 attacks. The NYSE's current executive vice president for enforcement, David Doherty, is a retired CIA general counsel.

procedure used at Deutschebank/AB Brown assured anonymity

"European reporters found that most of the suspicious pre-attack trades passed through Deutschebank and especially via CIA Executive Director A.B. Krongard’s former Alex Brown investment division by means of a procedure called portage, which assures the anonymity of individuals making the transactions. But Congress has not publicly revealed whether they will call Krongard and other Alex Brown traders to testify in open hearings, or whether they will subpoena the pre-attack documents in question."
more
http://www.scoop.co.nz/mason/stories/HL0207/S00119.htm

A Deutsche Bank executive was convicted of money laundering shortly before 9/11, and the bank laundered heroin money linked to the CIA.

And Shattuck actually resigned on September 12(!) from his three-year $30 million contract as head of AB Brown.

SMOKING GUN BURIED DURING CALIFORNIA RECALL VOTE!

On October 7 while the eyes of America were fixed on the California Recall vote the Securities and Exchange Commission quietly announced it was closing its investigation of suspicious stock trades connected to 911. The SEC's reason for closing the investigation can best be summed up as "What insider trading?".

...

* Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co., which occupied 22 floors of the World Trade Center, saw 2,157 of its October $45.00 put options bought in the three trading days before Black Tuesday; this compares to an average of 27 contracts per day before September 6.

* Merrill Lynch & Co., with headquarters near the Twin Towers, saw 12,215 October $45.00 put options bought in the four trading days before the attacks; the previous average volume in these options had been 252 contracts per day.

The CIA routinely monitors stock trades looking for exactly these kinds of suspicious transactions. The fact that these trades failed to sound any alarms is in itself suspicious as the bank which was the trading hub has a man inside the Agency. That man is CIA Executive Director “Buzzy” Krongard and the bank is Deutsche bank.

http://ez-websites.com/grudge /

September 6-10, 2001: Suspicious trading occurs on American and United, the two airlines used in the 9/11 attacks. "Between 6 and 7 September, The Chicago Board Options Exchange saw purchases of 4,744 put option contracts (a speculation that the stock will go down) in UAL versus 396 call options – where a speculator bets on a price rising. Holders of the put options would have netted a profit of $5 million once the carrier's share price dived after September 11. On 10 September, more trading in Chicago saw the purchase of 4,516 put options in American Airlines, the other airline involved in the hijackings. This compares with a mere 748 call options in American purchased that day. Investigators cannot help but notice that no other airlines saw such trading in their put options." One analyst says: "I saw put-call numbers higher than I've ever seen in 10 years of following the markets, particularly the options markets." (Associated Press, 9/18/01, San Francisco Chronicle, 9/19/01) "To the embarrassment of investigators, it has also emerged that the firm used to buy many of the "put" options ... on United Airlines stock was headed until 1998 by "Buzzy" Krongard, now executive director of the CIA." Krongard was chairman of Alex Brown Inc., which was bought by Deutsche Bank. "His last post before resigning to take his senior role in the CIA was to head Bankers Trust – Alex Brown's private client business, dealing with the accounts and investments of wealthy customers around the world." (Independent, 10/14/01)

35. and w/ PROMIS software, CIA monitors all trades in realtime
A search of the FTW web site shows that I have written
about Stephens - Jimmy Carter's roommate at Annapolis --
six times. Stephens' firm Systematics, which has since
gone through two name changes to become Axciom, was
deeply connected to the PROMIS software scandal, the
Worthen Bank, the Lippo Group, and subsequently through
a 2001 FTW investigation to drug money laundering out of
the Mena Regional Intermountain Airport in Arkansas. In
that investigation, looking into the apparent release from
US prison of Medellin Cartel co-founder Carlos Lehder, we
found that one of Stephens' subsidiaries, Beverly
Enterprises, had been connected to a suspected
money laundering operation involving bearer bonds sold by
Bill Clinton's Arkansas Development Financial Authority, sold
by Stephens Inc, and underwritten by the insurance giant
AIG and Goldman Sachs.

Stephens was the man who gave a down-and-out Bill Clinton
a $2 million loan to jumpstart an ailing presidential campaign
in 1992. There is also a glowing photograph of Stephens with
a young George W. Bush in the brilliant expose of the
drug money laundering and covert operations bank BCCI,
False Profits. Several BCCI players, including Saudi
banker Khalid bin Mahfouz, have been directly tied to
the financing of Al Qaeda.

36. PROMIS links everything from Waco,OKBOMB,OBL,BCCI, ShortingPuts
An October 16 FOX News report by correspondent Carl
Cameron indicating that convicted spy, former FBI Agent
Robert Hanssen( Hanssen's wife,FBI's Freeh, Scalia
Opus Dei, knew each other, SAME church)
had provided a highly secret
computer software program called Promis to Russian
organized crime figures - who in turn reportedly sold it to
Osama bin Laden - may signal a potential intelligence
disaster for the United States. Admissions by the FBI and
Justice in the FOX story that they have discontinued use of
the software are most certainly a legal disaster for a
government that has been engaged in a 16-year battle with
the software's creator, William Hamilton, CEO of the
Inslaw Corporation. Over those 16 years, in response to
lawsuits filed by Hamilton charging that the government
had stolen the software from Inslaw, the FBI, the CIA and
the Department of Justice have denied, in court and under
oath, ever using the software.

38. Lawyer claims FBI informer linked to McVeigh bombing
By Pamela Manson
The Salt Lake Tribune

A Salt Lake City lawyer says an FBI informant who was an explosives expert might have trained accomplices of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh at a white supremacist compound.
Attorney Jesse Trentadue says two teletypes sent by the FBI's director show that an informer had infiltrated a paramilitary training compound in Oklahoma known as Elohim City and was there in April 1995 when one of the bombing suspects allegedly called looking for co-conspirators.
The name of the informant and caller are blacked out, but Trentadue suspects they are Andreas Strassmeir, a German national who he says was the weapons and explosives instructor at the compound, and McVeigh, who allegedly was trying to recruit accomplices two weeks before the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building that killed 168 people. The attorney says he believes Strassmeir was working either for the FBI or for the Southern Poverty Law Center, an Alabama-based civil rights group, which relayed the information to the agency.
If his suspicion about the informant's identity is correct, "then not only does it appear that FBI defendants knew about and fail to prevent the attack upon the Murrah Building, but FBI defendants may also have been responsible for training McVeigh and the others who planned and carried out the attack," Trentadue says in a document filed Monday at U.S. District Court in Salt Lake City.
The accusation was made in the lawyer's lawsuit that alleges the FBI is violating the federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by refusing to turn over documents connected to the 1995 death of his brother in an Oklahoma prison.
This latest allegation by Trentadue follows one he made last month that the FBI probably knew in advance about the bombing but did nothing to stop the attack.

At 7 AM on August 21, 1995, officials from the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s office arrived at the new Oklahoma City Federal Transfer Center for the body of a man recently picked up for parole violation who allegedly was a suicide by hanging. The astonished state officials saw a body with scalp split to the skull in three places, throat slashed, and a body completely covered in blood, bruises and burns.

As law requires, the officials asked to see the cell in which the alleged suicide occurred. Federal officials pulled rank and refused on the grounds that a federal investigation was underway.

A federal investigation was not underway.

The state officials told the prison officials that the body’s condition required FBI notice and protection of the cell as an undisturbed crime scene. Associate Warden Max Flowers, however, ordered the cell to be cleaned before any investigation could be done. Flowers claimed that medical staff informed him that Trentadue was HIV-positive and that it was urgent to remove the infectious blood.

There is a bridge spanning the World Trade Center and the Oklahoma City federal building. Itís in the Philippines.

And itís made of gold ó Japanese and Nazi gold buried in underground vaults once used to imprison and torture American prisoners of war and local insurgents. Approximately 1,000 tons of the loot was liberated by Ferdinand Marcos before his ouster. Billions of dollars worth were shipped overseas by American intelligence agents and the Mafia. Much of the horde was cabbaged away in a high-security, subterranean storage cachÈ buried beneath the Zurich airport. This vault was once used to conceal European gold from Hitlerís greedy SS scavengers. Fifty years later, some of the same bullion has found its way into the campaign coffers of ultra-conservative political candidates in the U.S., according to the Las Vegas Sun.

But Marcos didnít recover the lionís share of the pelf. A six-month series in the Sun reported in 1993 that Marcos abandoned thousands of tons of gold hidden in his homeland. Gary Thompson, the newspaperës former managing editor, and journalist Steve Kanigher published copies of gold certificates from Credit Suisse, deposit records from the Union Bank of Switzerland, the correspondence of Corazon Aquino and letters to Reagan administration officials documenting witness accounts that lackeys of the CIA and Army Special Forces carted off an unknown quantity of the bullion. They followed one lead after another, flying around the world for 11 months to piece together an elaborate story of political corruption and greed.

The gold extraction was sanctioned by Lt. General Robert Schweitzer, President Reaganís senior military liaison to the National Security Council, and Lt. General Daniel Graham, then director of the DIA and a key consultant on the Strategic Defense Initiative. Schweitzer and retired General John Singlaub, the aforementioned veteran of the Iran-contra affair, joined the board of Nippon Star, a Japanese conglomerate with branches in the Philippines. As they explained to two plaintive Nippon Star consultants, "the company is going out of business ó the National Security Council is taking over."
Among those recruited to run the intelligence front was retired Army Colonel Dan Myers, a former aide to Watergate celebrity G. Gordon Liddy. Eldon "Dan" Cummings, a Pentagon staffer, was named vice president.

Schwartzís ambitious aide, Oliver North, was already dabbling in the gold trade. In 1985, he attempted to sell 44 tons of Marcos bullion, worth $465 million, on the black market. He blithely suggested skimming $5 million to finance the Nicaraguan contra war, but the deal fell through when North, true to form, stiffed the Israeli middlemen on the Marcos payroll.

Tapes and documents implicating American officials in the gold transfers were withheld from the Iran-contra committee by Major General Colin Powell, Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger and William Odom, director of the NSA. "It wasnít so much the mention of gold that concerned them," say Thompson and Kanigher. "It was Marcos talking (on tape) about contributions to U.S. presidential campaigns and the use of the gold proceeds to fund illegal arms deals."
To extract the gold, Ray Cline, then deputy director of the CIA, organized a working group that included a chief regulator of the S&L industry. Citibank was drawn into the operation to negotiate ownership of a Philippine gold horde secreted in the Bahamas.NASA pilots drew up a plan to transport the bullion (a link to Caslpan?)

Bo Gritz, the swashbuckling Idaho militia leader who ran for president with David Duke as his running mate, also travelled to the Philippines to participate in the gold dig. Gritz claims that he struck out ó but the Special Forces veteran has been known to spin a plausible denial or two in his time.

The upshot was that either Lana Padilla was telling the truth about Terry Nicholsí mystery trips abroad, or she is a scholar of national security studies with an emphasis on black ops. Her allusion to terrorists from the Middle East was hardly far-fetched. General Schweitzerís crew from the NSC hired a team of lawyers to sell the gold recovered in the Philippines. Much of it was sold off to Middle Eastern terrorists. Some of them have indeed been linked to the World Trade Center bombing, according to Kanigher and Thompson.

Andreas Strassmeir fled the country after the bombing and is currently back in Berlin. In one interview that has been widely reported, Strassmeir is quoted as saying:

"It's obvious that it was a government 'op' that went wrong, isn't it? The ATF had something going with McVeigh. They were watching him, of course they were. What they should have done is make an arrest while the bomb was still being made instead of waiting till the last moment for a publicity stunt. They had everything they needed to make the bust, and they screwed it up."

"Whoever thought this thing up is an idiot, in my opinion. I am told they thought it would be better to put a bigger bomb in there. The bigger the better. It would make them more guilty....McVeigh knew he was delivering a bomb, but he had no idea what was in that truck. He just wanted to shake things up a little; you know, make a gesture."

"The bomb was never meant to explode. They were going to arrest McVeigh at the site with the bomb in hand, but he didn't come at the right time... Maybe he changed the time, you never know with people who are so unreliable." "I have heard that the truck was expected in the middle of the night, between two and three in the morning. The truck had a transmitter, so they could track it with a radio receiving device. I don't know how they could have lost contact. I think there was misinformation that the operation had been canceled."

This writer, for one of many, would like to know where Strassmeir got his information. Many believe that Strassmeir was a government informant involved in a sting operation that went terribly wrong. They believe that Andreas Strassmeir is the John Doe #2 and that once the authorities realized it was one of their operatives who they were looking for, they ceased the search and covered it up by denying any evidence to another person. I am inclined to agree with that summation.

US court blocks access to Marcos millions-123004

Elohim is about 50 miles SSE of my Arkansas
home-Fayetteville/Springdale:

On 11-12 October 1993, McVeigh, Nichols and the ARA were
all in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The ARA was there on
an unsuccessful mission to rob an armoured truck
in Springdale, 20 miles to the north; Guthrie wrote in his
memoir that the job needed "at least one additional
participant" and McVeigh had worked as an armoured
truck driver. Fayetteville was close to Elohim City
(McVeigh received a speeding ticket just four miles from
the compound), and also to the home of the leader of
the Arkansas Knights of the Ku-Klux- Klan who had met
and possibly inducted both McVeigh and Guthrie a year
earlier

http://www.rickross.com/reference/mcveigh/mcveigh8.html

And to bring this full circle:

1987
When Harken Energy needed an infusion of cash in the spring
of 1987, the Bush personally met with
Stephens founder of Stephens, Inc, Little Rock, Arkansas,
the largest investment banking and brokerage firm outside
of New York.
Stephens put a rescue plan in motion: Union Bank
of Switzerland, which ordinarily didn't invest in small U.S.
firms, would make an exception, giving Harken $25 million
in exchange for a stock interest.
As part of the deal, Sheikh Abdullah Bakhsh, who at one
time owned nearly 10% of Stephen’s Worthen Bank in
Little Rock, joined Harken’s board of directors as a
major investor. Bakhsh appointed Talat Othman as
his representative on Harken’s board.

It was also Union Bank of Switzerland, according
to congressional hearings on international money
laundering, that helped the now-notorious Bank of Credit
and Commerce International skirt
Panamanian money-laundering laws by flying cash out of
the country in private jets, and that was used by FERDINAND
MARCOS to stash 325 tons of Philippine gold around the
world (WSJ-12-06-91 and Fortunate Son by J.H.Hatfield,
p.98-99)
Note: The Texas Observer reports that Bush was present at
the meeting in Little Rock, Arkansas when the sale of
five percent of Harken to Union Bank of Switzerland
was discussed.

39. Peak Oil, Stolen Elections, Energy Wars
Gibbs' TruVote machine is a marvel. After voters touch
the screen, a
paper ballot prints out under plexiglass and once the
voter compares it to
his actual vote and approves it, the ballot drops into a
lockbox and is
issued a numbered receipt. The voter's receipt allows
the tracking of his
particular vote to make sure that it was transferred from
the polling
place
to the election tabulation
center.

Gibbs' last words to me were "How do you
explain
what happened to
Senator Max Cleland in Georgia. How do you explain
that?
The Maryland
study
and the Johns Hopkins scientists have warned us against
'blinD faith
voting.' These systems can be hacked into. They found
patches in
> Georgia and the people servicing the machine had
entered the
machines
during the voting process. How can we the people accept
this? No
more
blind
faith voting."

Now, the man asking the obvious question, and
demonstrating an
obvious
tangible solution is dead in another tragic accident, a week
after both
articles were in circulation.
When I called TruVote International to verify Gibbs' death,
I
reached
Chief Financial Officer Adrenne Brandon who assured me
"We're going on in
his memory. Weíre going to make this happen."

59. I'd like to see Ruppert use Gonzales' torture guidelines on Krongard.
Krongard is connected to Smirko through Spectrum-7, HARKEN Energy, Harvard Foundation and a whole lot more. One area I'd like to know more about is his connection to Inslaw-PROMIS.

From FTW:

The Background is Oil

EXCERPT...

FTW also revealed that the A.B. Brown (Alex Brown) investment arm of the banking giant Deutschebank/A.B. Brown had been headed until 1998 by the man who is now the Executive Director of the Central Intelligence Agency - A.B. "Buzzy" Krongard. In fact, Krongard is but one name in a long history of CIA interconnections to stock trading and the world's financial markets. We also discussed, in detail, the evidence indicating that the CIA and other intelligence agencies monitor stock trading in real time for the purpose of identifying potential attacks of any nature that might damage the U.S. economy.

The original FTW story is located at:  http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free /
ww3/krongard.html.

Critics of FTW's initial story - not having read any of five related stories dating back to an October 2000 piece on PROMIS software - claimed that we had not made the links to establish culpability. But we knew that the links were there, that our case was solid, and that new evidence would not go undiscovered for long.

Now, investigative reporter Tom Flocco digs deep and strikes pay dirt in a three-part series that reveals not only deeper links between the CIA, Wall Street and the insider trades of 9-11, but also discloses that a key executive at Deutschebank - an American - became, just weeks before the attacks, a convicted felon. His crime: conspiracy to launder drug money to arrange the purchase of U.S. weapons - in association with two Pakistanis who also attempted to acquire nuclear bomb components - for use by Islamic fundamentalist terrorists. - MCR]

CIA Does Not Deny Stock Monitoring Outside U.S.

(Part I in a series) -- In a returned phone call from the Central Intelligence Agency, press spokesman Tom Crispell denied that the CIA was monitoring "real-time," pre-September 11, stock option trading activity within United States borders using such software as the ProsecutorÔs Management Information System (PROMIS).

"That would be illegal.  We only operate outside the United States," the intelligence official said.

Inslaw executives claimed PROMIS had been stolen by
the government, and they wanted recompense. While
following this twisted story, Casolaro suddenly turned
up "suicided". He had told friends if they were ever told he
had committed suicide not to believe it, and to know he had
been murdered.

http://www.webcom.com/~lpease/collections/conspiracies/...

Eitan also disclosed that he and Ben-Menashe collaborated
on a project using so-called PROMIS software to
collect sensitive intelligence about Israel's enemies in
the Middle East.

Thomas told me that Eitan admitted that he was in direct
contact with the developers of the original PROMIS software,
a small Washington, D.C.-based company called
Inslaw. Thomas said Eitan acknowledged that he was
the mysterious Israeli who visited Inslaw's office in
February 1983, using the name "Ben Orr."

Several years after the visit, Inslaw president William
Hamilton learned from an Israeli journalist that Eitan
sometimes called himself, "Dr. Joseph Ben Orr." After
checking Eitan's photo, Hamilton and other members of his
staff recognized Eitan as their
visitor.

Wittingly or not, Ronald Reagan's Justice Department
appeared to have facilitated that visit and Israel's procurement
of PROMIS.

60. CIA means "Capitalism's Invisible Army" for Wall Street.
CIA, THE BANKS AND THE BROKERS

Understanding the interrelationships between CIA and the banking and brokerage world is critical to grasping the already frightening implications of the above revelations. Let’s look at the history of CIA, Wall Street and the big banks by looking at some of the key players in CIA’s history.

Clark Clifford – The National Security Act of 1947 was written by Clark Clifford, a Democratic Party powerhouse, former Secretary of Defense, and one-time advisor to President Harry Truman. In the 1980s, as Chairman of First American Bancshares, Clifford was instrumental in getting the corrupt CIA drug bank BCCI a license to operate on American shores. His profession: Wall Street lawyer and banker.

John Foster and Allen Dulles – These two brothers “designed” the CIA for Clifford. Both were active in intelligence operations during WW II. Allen Dulles was the U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland where he met frequently with Nazi leaders and looked after U.S. investments in Germany. John Foster went on to become Secretary of State under Dwight Eisenhower and Allen went on to serve as CIA Director under Eisenhower and was later fired by JFK. Their professions: partners in the most powerful - to this day - Wall Street law firm of Sullivan, Cromwell.

Bill Casey – Ronald Reagan’s CIA Director and OSS veteran who served as chief wrangler during the Iran-Contra years was, under President Richard Nixon, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. His profession: Wall Street lawyer and stockbroker.

David Doherty - The current Vice President of the New York Stock Exchange for enforcement is the retired General Counsel of the Central Intelligence Agency.

George Herbert Walker Bush – President from 1989 to January 1993, also served as CIA Director for 13 months from 1976-7. He is now a paid consultant to the Carlyle Group, the 11th largest defense contractor in the nation, which also shares joint investments with the bin Laden family.

IT GOES ON, STARTING WITH BUZZY KRONGARD…

IN-Q-TEL (CIA VENTURE FIRM)

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/techinvestor/2002/01/10/ci...

"Our mission is to go after technologies that are going to get to market anyway," said
Gilman Louie, In-Q-Tel's chief executive. "We want to get there ahead of time. We want to
get there early."

In-Q-Tel gets about $30 million per year to spend on investments and technology

67. Days Of Future Passed

Gazing at people, some hand in hand,
Just what I'm going through they can't understand.
Some try to tell me, thoughts they cannot defend,
Just what you want to be, you will be in the end.....

Nights in white satin, never reaching the end,
Letters I've written, never meaning to send.
Beauty I'd always missed, with these eyes before,
Just what the truth is, I can't say anymore.....

Yesterday's dreams are tomorrow's sighs.
Watch children play, they seem so wise.....

Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white,
But we decide which is right.
And which is an illusion.....

Night time, to some a brief interlude,
To others the fear of solitude.
Brave Helios, wake up your steeds,
Bring the warmth the countryside needs.....

Tuesday, afternoon,
I'm just beginning to see, now I'm on my way.
It doesn't matter to me, chasing the clouds away.
Something, calls to me,
The trees are drawing me near, I've got to find out why?
Those gentle voices I hear, explain it all with a sigh.

I see it all through my window it seems,
Never failing, like millions of bees.
Pull out the drawer, no time to be won,
Only to do, what can be done?
Peak hour, peak hour, peak hour.....

It makes me want to run out
And tell them, they've got time.
Take a step back out and look in,
I've found out, I've got time.

Minds are subject to what should be done,
Problem solved, time cannot be won.
One hour a day, one hour a night,
She's trying to be, ooh,
Home, in full flight.....

When the sun goes down,
and the clouds all frown,
Night has begun for the sunset.
See it with your eyes,
Earth's re-energized,
By the sun's rays everyday.
Take a look out there, planets everywhere.....

I can see it all, from this great height,
I can feel the sun, slipping out of sight.
And the world still goes on, through the night.

Dawn is a feeling, a beautiful ceiling,
The smell of grass just makes you pass into a dream.
You're here today, no future fears,
This day will last a thousand years, if you want it to.

You look around you, things they astound you,
So breathe in deep, you're not asleep open your mind.
You're here today, no future fears,
This day will last a thousand years, if you want it to.

Do you understand that all over this land there's a feeling?
In minds far and near, things are becoming clear with a meaning.
Now that you're knowing, pleasure starts flowing,
It's true life flies, faster than eyes could ever see.
You're here today, no future fears,
This day will last a thousand years, if you want it to....

70. Get This....
Bremer's former spokesman, Dan Senor who's still his close
associate, told us: " Bin Laden has a bounty on Ambassador Bremer's head.

That's partly why he has Secret Service protection.

Tom Mazur, the Secret Service's spokesman, said yesterday,
"Unfortunately sometimes inconveniences take place, but I
would hope our agents acted in a professional manner."

September 11th Families For A Peaceful Tomorrow....

Today, as we commemorate September 11, 2004, we find that our worst
fears have been realized. The terrorism of September 11th has been
neither neutralized, nor ended, by the terrorism of war.

68. Wonder how long ago this deal was cut....
I thought it was suspicious that we let him get away. Combine that with the fact that his family and the Bushes are close friends (House of Bush House of Saud), that invading Iraq actually strengthens Saudi Arabia at the expense of their largest competitor, that the CIA under Bush I actually recruited and funded Osama in the first place, that a majority of the 9-11 hijackers were Saudis, that Bush's plan to invade Iraq predated 9-11, and the fact that we quit actively seeking him about the time we were really getting close....

Jeez. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't really out to get you.
