US oil firm staff found dead
Staff Correspondent

A female staff-member of a US oil company was killed in the Dhaka Cantonment area on Friday. The body of an unknown woman was also found yesterday in Tejgaon.

Shamima Akmol Shampa, 31, a project secretary of Grand Geophysical Oil and Gas Company, was found lying unconscious with injuries all over her body at 8:15pm near the cantonment railway gate.

Prior to the incident, an office vehicle had dropped her at Mirpur-2. She had left her office at 6:50pm after the day's work and was on her way to her uncle's house in Paikpara where she lived.

Shampa's colleague Pijush said, however that she had to go to her office on road No. 2 in Mohakhali DOHS for some urgent work. "I was at my house at 7:45pm when she phoned me and asked me to come to office, saying she had some emergency tasks to do," Pijush told reporters. He last spoke with her on the mobile phone when she was at Kakoli.

3. It's a little murky, isn't it?

The paper's in India, but the translated article seems to take it for granted anyone reading would already know it all.

Sorry.

That's all she wrote. It's reached from "Headlines."

On edit:

I just looked up "About Us" at the bottom, and saw this paper IS published in Bangladesh, after all. That's the story. (I'm pretty sure India has a "Daily Star," too.)

5. Well, that's where the Dhaka Medical College Hospital and the
Dhaka Cantonment area are so I'm guessing so.

but the extremist Muslim fundamentalists are also to blame.

It's like the mega-version of the Hatfields and the McCoys: the Bushes and the bin Ladens. Maybe we can get the Rev. Falwell to hitch up Jenna and Saad and put an end to all the bickering.
