Pakistani tribesmen attack gas pipeline
All is not peachy in Mushheads little fiefdom?

A soldier has been killed and eight civilians wounded in a rocket attack by tribesmen on a gas installation in southwest Pakistan, officials said.

Several rockets hit the facility at Sui, 320km southeast of Quetta, capital of Baluchistan province which borders Afghanistan and Iran on Friday night.

Paramilitary forces guarding the key installation responded with rockets and mortars and the exchange of fire lasted for several hours, they said on Saturday.

"We have received reports that a paramilitary sepoy was killed in the incident which happened late Friday," provincial home secretary Aftab Jamal said.

1. What great little optimists!
"The tribesmen say the natural wealth of Pakistan's most resource-rich province is not trickling down to ordinary people."

When has it ever in any time any place?

But they seem willing to take action on it. Meanwhile, is the Peterson trial over?

2. Sort of
... just awaiting the sentencing phase.

Jury recommended death, but judge could give a lesser sentence

What do you think will happen

On resources in different areas:
You also need political stability to count on others benefiting on them

SO, consider Alaska

3. Coupla years ago in Alaska
a drunk with a shotgun made a HUGE MESS. He wasn't politically motivated, just drunk and armed. IIRC he wasn't even AIMING at the pipeline...
