Opponents want horse law reversed
great photo on this link site, if you like seeing helicopters chasing horses ....

To wild horse advocate Bobbi Royle of Washoe Valley, a new federal law allowing any horses to be sold at auction should be reversed.

“We have to do whatever we can to change this. We have to try to prevent the unnecessary slaughter of a large number of animals,’’ Royle said Wednesday.

Royle, director of Wild Horse Spirit — a rescue organization for injured and abused horses — and other opponents of the measure said they are irate about how the measure was approved.

“It was a sneak attack over a holiday weekend,’’ Royle said of the amendment to the 1971 Wild Free Roaming Horse and Burro Act.

1. Interesting to see what happens
The bill is being sold in a positive light (as they all are). I am just wondering what will happen with the real execution of this law.

This is a part of the broad and sweeping plan to remove people from the west. The plan involves moving out families that have been here for generations. It involves a corporate handout for oil, gas, timber, and corporate agriculture interests.

Road closures, denial of access to public lands, drilling rights, eminent domain, and other choice pieces of limiting legislation. All these and more on behalf of congress...

2. wise person, you are ....
it is more about the oil, gas and mining stuff then it is about ranchers. They will be next after the horses are under control.

3. I have ol Burns to my name...
Being from Montana and all. You take a look at BLM land and ranch land around this state, and you will know the truth.

Ranchers lose cattle and horses to arsenic and selenium poisoning created from the material drilled to get at natural gas and oil.

Timber companies are stripping forests bare, and doing so in secret on federal land.

Corporate farms are taking over and conglomerating 3rd and 4th generation farms.

The Orwellian saga is not just about rounding us up and putting us in urban prisons (prisoners of an urban environment). It is about getting the nation mostly devoid of people so as to be able to do ANYTHING that they wish. That is the second half of the puzzle, and the one we all miss (except for those of us in the know).
