Repuke leads by 42 votes after MACHINE recount. BBV machines must PRINT results for manual recount. I believe WA State will be first BBV test case up to the US Supremes (Bush-Gore 2000 is already being trotted out by both sides. So much for "not setting precedent"!)

18. Intuitively I have had the sense from the beginning that a recount in WA

(a manual handcount - not machine) will end up not only proving definitively that Gregoire is the new WA State Governor, but it will demonstrate what other discrepancies that exist in the use of machines, not only for voting but for machine recounts. If it goes to court, it could help out with other cases in other states.

The bitter battle over the stolen November 2 election in Ohio has turned into a rapidly escalating all-out multi-front war with the outcome of the real presidential vote count increasingly in doubt.

In Columbus, major demonstrations on Saturday, December 4, have been followed by an angry confrontation between demonstrators and state police at the office of Republican Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell, the Bush-Cheney state chairman who is also officially in charge of certifying the election, at least for now. Civil Rights leader Jesse Jackson has called on Blackwell to recuse himself from dealings with the election, saying his role as Bush-Cheney chairman has compromised his objectivity in delivering fair election results.

New revelations about voting machine allocations in Franklin County emerged on Tuesday, December 7. William Anthony, Chair of the Franklin County Board of Elections, told WVKO radio listeners that the Board begins “stationing voting machines four weeks out” before Election Day. Security questions were raised after a machine in Gahanna Ward 1B at the New Life Church recorded 4258 votes for Bush where only 638 voters cast ballots.

It does not cite two non-partisan Election Day exit polls, by CNN and Zogby, which found Kerry leading by mid-afternoon. The Ohio Honest Election Campaign filing also describes abnormal patterns in the votes for statewide Democratic candidates – with Kerry receiving fewer votes than obscure candidates – could point to computer vote shifting. The Honest Election Campaign is seeking to investigate these abnormalities.

Think of the U.S. media response, if the person who was to oversee the integrity of the Ukraine elections was also the chairman of the governing party's election team. It would be considered all the evidence needed to declare the entire election a farce.

the entire election fraud issue would never have seen the light of day had it not been for the internet . . . WE are the ones who got this going and kept it alive (WE being everyone on the net who has been involved with getting to the truth of the 2004 election, including many, many DUers) . . .

When the NYT et al call us "internet bloggers and conspiracy theorists" it's hilarious. (The Onion should have run the headline "Internet BLOGGERS Stole the Election!") They get most of their leads from the net.

And to my knowledge, the net never has spawned a "conspiracy theory" on the order of Jessica Lynch, WMD or Mission Accomplished.

As addicted as I am to print press, I'm so grateful for the net because it's the only place where you can get a grip on reality anymore.
