Just got home from Madison - lots of pics (and Happy birthday, mom!!)

This is how my mom wanted to spend her birthday (she's also a DUer). :)

The mood was ELECTRIC, the crowds were peaceful, friendly, fired up, and A.MAZING. I am so proud to have marched among these people. Here are a few of my faves and a link to my whole album.

3. How was your drive home? Are the roads slippery?

Our daughters are driving (a 3 1/2 hour trip) and I was just wondering...

I am only an hour away so it wasn't bad. Yeah, I was so glad I was able to go. :)

The mood was electric, the people so very impassioned. Peaceful, kind, helpful and AMAZING. They hand out water, offer gloves, sweatshirts, food, hugs. It's beautiful.

in the cold and snow? You have to know people are pissed to be out in that weather. Thanks for representing! :bounce:

8. There were two guys in favor of bill. TWO GUYS.

And one obnoxious guy yelling from his car.

23. I heard one guy, very well dressed make an unfavorable comment

and I took it to mean that he was not in favor of the protest. It was on the side of the capitol of your picture with the guys holding the sign saying, "Shame, Shame" and "Budge". It was near a guy who had a sign explaining how Walker only got 26% of the total of those eligible to vote here in WI.
