White House vs Fox News... NPR has poll ... you know what to do,,
http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2009/10/in_white_ho...

It's pretty close...

The White House on this one; Fox News isn't "fair and balanced." 50% (150,760 votes)

Fox News on this one; it asks questions others don't and the White House should be able to handle them. 48% (144,686 votes)

Neither side. They're both trying to play this "feud" to their advantage. 2% (5,772 votes)

14. Freepers and Fox's audience are all over the
comments, actually proving how indoctrinated they are since almost all of them are posting the usual talking points they get on Fox.

When I voted, the WH was ahead by 51% - 49%. Now the WH, five minutes later, has lost 2% points. They must be paying these people to stay on there and vote over and over again.

Fox is not a news organization, it's not even entertaining. And I don't like getting 'news' from convicted criminals like Ollie North and G Gordon Liddy, or prostitute toe-suckers, like Dick Morris, who btw, allowed the prostitute to watch and listen as he talked to the POTUS. Or election fraudsters and war criminal propagandists, like Karl Rove. But if that's your idea of news, Fox is where to go.

19. This poll should be taken down. Freepers
are voting over and over. I watched it for a few minutes, and in less than a minute, Fox gets nearly 100 votes while the WH gets around 30. It's a busy little poll but I think it's the same people voting. The place is flooded with freepers in the comments section. They must have sent out a memo as I never saw so many rightwingers on NPR before, nor so much activity on a fairly obscure poll.

At this rate, I wonder are they being paid, it will be a 90 - 10 in a few hours. That takes a lot of dedication. Oh, and in the same time period, the WH got 40 votes.

I just spent 10 minutes watching it and the freepers are speeding up. It's now about 200 votes in less than a minute for Fox. About 7 for the WH.

They should have made it impossible to cast more than one vote. The word must be out all over their network of freeper operatives.

Edited on Thu Oct-29-09 11:16 PM by sabrina 1
or hundreds of Freepers have been working it all day. Earlier I watched it for about ten minutes. If you refresh the page, vote and look at the Fox numbers, they are jumping by about 200 in the time it takes to refresh. Just tried it again, same thing. Hard to believe that this is such a popular poll that literally thousands of people have voted for Fox in just a few hours.

It dropped from the WH being slightly ahead, to where it is now. 52% for Fox, 46% for the WH. By morning it should be zero for the WH at this rate. Waste of time voting for the WH, it's a foxed/fixed poll.

31. You can vote multiple times.
The display says "we have already counted your vote) but if you look at the total it counted it again. Freepers have automatic "poll bots" that allow them to vote, clear their cookies, and then vote again. I'm betting that's how it got Freeped so badly.

No one pays attention to these polls, anyway. It's a pretty useless exercise.

37. You don't even have to clear your cookies on this poll
You can click on the button you want, click five times if you like, then vote. All those clicks will register. Then refresh, and repeat.

Fox got a quarter of a million votes overnight. I think they must have installed an automatic bot.

I sent an email to NPR telling them the results of the poll are fraudulent and they should remove it. I also asked why they do not monitor their blog polls and comments?

Got a response saying they will review the email and get back to me.

Not a huge deal, but if it becomes a habit with NPR, it's more way to skew the facts. That's why I wrote to them. Took all of three minutes so we'll what their response is.

If I had as much time on my hands as an unemployed Freeper retard (and from their spelling and grammar
on the comments section, they must all have the week off), I could skew the poll against Fox single-
handedly. All you have to do is click "back" and vote again--and again and again and again. That's
not a poll, it's an endurance test.

The White House on this one; Fox News isn't "fair and balanced." 28% (168,747 votes)
Fox News on this one; it asks questions others don't and the White House should be able to handle them. 71% (426,429 votes)
Neither side. They're both trying to play this "feud" to their advantage. 2% (9,639 votes)

The 'Neither side' option should statistically be much higher IMHO.
