At the reminder of a fellow ASAH frequent flyer...Here is the Visionary thread for the month of August!

As most of know, the end of a sequence of Eclipses is already rocking us this first week of the month with a Lunar eclipse on schedule for the 5th...and will continue to unfold as the summer winds down.
The first harvest is upon us and we see what we are reaping from the beginnign of our summer journey (our planting season being May 1st, Beltaine; and June 21, midsummer)
LUGHNASAD (August 1st) The great corn ritual - in Celtic realms this is the celebration of the wheat god, corn is an Americanization. The Big celebration of the harvest. Much feasting and dancing occur & blessing the foods prepared.
MABON (Fall Equinox, Sept. ) This is the weavers festival, and a braiding of cords are done with intentions to add to one’s life – Individualy, and then as a community. Native American Prayer-Ties are also a good symbol for this.

1. Thanks for starting this thread, FL!

I had a LOT of dreams this week (eclipse is already rocking and rolling us for sure!!) but I only recall a few. They all seemed to be personal in nature.

A couple of nights ago my astral visitor (see previous posts from end of last year and beginning of this year) returned, after having been "away" from me for a couple of months. I was happy to see him. He was looking quite dashing in a white shirt and a deep blue velvet frock coat (I shit you not!)--quite unlike him, so perhaps it was his outfit from another lifetime. The dream was very simple--I just walked up to him and he turned his head and looked shocked to see me/recognize me. I believe the most accurate term for his expression was "gobsmacked".

He's been back "with" me ever since. I wonder how long he's going to hang around this time...

Last night I dreamed that I renovated not only my own house, but also a guest house on the premises. It was like a gatehouse, though, because the "second" smaller house was in front of the first. Neither one looked like my present house. An historian came by to talk with me about the architecture of the houses and told me the history of the houses and the owners, but I was a bit disappointed because I already knew all the details he shared with me--I had been hoping he was going to tell me something I didn't know.

When the contractors were nearly, but not entirely, done with the renovations, I hosted a party for lots of Native American friends. (For the record, I don't have any NA friends IRL.) Even though the party was pleasant and everyone well behaved, albeit with a lot of people in the houses and the yard--which even had a fence around it, I think--the police showed up. We knew they came by because they expected the party to be rowdy because there were a lot of NA people attending. I was furious at their stereotyping but managed to keep a civil tongue in my head when I told them off. Then they tried to ticket/tow one of the contractors' pickup trucks that was parked on the street, until I pointed out it was parked legally.

2. Hi Glow!

I was just wondering how you were doing, and here you are! Did you by any chance watch the You tube video on DU yesterday, that showed the cops breaking up a "baptism party" in broad daylight and tasering the grandpa and the pregnant woman??? sounds faintly similar to your dream. They said the kids were making too much noise and disturbing the peace! It was totally shocking to me, and I'm beginning to believe that this country has gone bat shit fucking crazy!! Pardon my french!! I had a similar dream about houses and parties last night. It somehow was connected to my Granddaughters wedding, and her wedding venue, as well as an upcoming BD celebration this Sat. for Aidan's 3rd. BD. In my dream I was wandering around aimlessly, looking at different "scenes" of groups of people like through a marred, or greasy mirror.........I was tired, and couldn't participate, only look on from a distance!! Weird, right?? JA

Safe journey home dear. JA P.S. I just googled it on DU. The story is listed a few times. Google "Grandfather and pregnant woman tasered by police" There's even a fenced in yard in the video!! Are you sure you weren't having an out of body experience in your sleep????

4. DP -- 3 nightmares in the last few nights

I wasn't able to sleep at all for 2 nights running. Finally, I slept but had 2 nightmares in 1 night. Then fragmented dreams I couldn't remember the next night. And then a nightmare last night.

Nightmare 1: Dahli came in from the pasture covered with severe lacerations and hoof injuries. Vet was there. Prognosis was ok, that she'd probably be ok. I woke up with major sinus pressure. Eventually fell back to sleep.

Nightmare 2: Jake fell off a landing, I couldn't catch him and he dropped about 10-15 feet onto a flight of stairs, and then tumbled and rolled down the stairs, with me screaming for him. People at the bottom saw he was dead and covered him with a sheet, while I ran down the stairs. I pulled the sheet off him, and he was alive. Or not. I woke up again with major sinus pressure.

Nightmare 3: I was at my house, but it wasn't this house. It was another house I've dreamed about before. My sister and cousin were visiting. Everything was falling apart somehow. I tried to drive away, and my car broke down with smoke pouring out the front. I feel like I've had this dream before, years ago. I think the broken down car represents my broken life. :(

6. Quetzalcoatl

late last week as I was falling to sleep I have an experience. Thunderbird showed himself like he always does w/a vision (or who knows spirit travel? doppleganger?) of me soaring through the air next to him. Normally am scared of heights but when I am with him all is cool. We head south and I go along curious at what will happen next. There are skips in the vision like we are fast fowarded in a tape then we head for an mesoamerican pyramid. Another being presents himself as I land on top and Thunderbird leaves without a word. I test the being asking three times if he is of the light getting yes each time. While this vision is sketchy like usual, maybe inner eye needs glasses too ;), with this being man-shaped but at the same time he is birdlike too as if the two aspects of this being overlaps. Somehow I know this is supposed to be Quetzalcoatl who tells me I had lived in that region before and left part of my personal power behind there. He says now I am ready to reclaim it so I call it back in and send out my gratitude to him, Thunderbird and anyone else who helped me get to reclaim this. Then I fall fully asleep and don't remember any other dreams or visions. Have felt this being around a few more times like he wants to communicate something and I am not letting him through. Am going though the whole usual routine of feeling unworthy of help from such a being which is probably the biggest block.

7. Spotaneous CV: Last night, coming home from the grocery store, I had a flash

of the Democratic Underground forums the week Katrina hit. Memories included how pissed off people were, posters saying they were too angry to sleep because of Bush's inaction, etc. Don't know what the significance is; hopefully not a warning of another Katrina-like event.

8. Wow. I've been thinking a lot about Katrina and NOLA lately. No visions or

dreams, but thoughts that suddenly come into my mind. Also, I've been getting very strong feelings that some really big muck is going to hit the fan. I wonder if these are somehow connected? There is of course the information coming out about the Blackwater guy, Eric Prince's allegedly murdering people, however, I don't think this is what it's going to come out to be unless Prince and Blackwater are somehow connected to the failure of FEMA during that disaster.

As the date of culmination, if you will, of an upcoming scandal. Came through my pendulum a couple of days ago (sorry, don't recall the date or time). Don't know what it's regarding really, (foreign policy?) but it feels pretty bad.

15. I'm digging the timing of late fall too...

Been thinking that the economy was gonna head back up and then tank again in october (end of first Q, right?) That the homeless issues and people without much of ANYTHING is going to hit some critical mass. While there may be violence or wild & woolly stuff here & there.... It will certainly NOT be Obama's Katrina. He is the person we chose to guide us through these bumps, & changes...

I still feel that there has to be some "shakedown" in the way we do things and get energy and food and how we distribute everything - from basics needs to simple compassion...
part of the breaking down that has to happen. I am glad I am in a rural area, I think it's why I have taken the pay cuts and lived in the snow and everything...my soul was called here to be safe, and to help bring the energy forth from a place in nature...

it's still not The Great Depression 2, which Bush very nearly created. We have been delivered from a vast amount of suffering and need to be grateful for that no matter what.

I feel very strongly about this, which is my kind of psychic. Usually if I feel strongly about something that's how it comes.
Companies are going to be forced to be more compassionate in their dealings with the general public. I'm not sure why or how, however.

17. CV - (spontaneous) recent CRAZY / RW fringe...

I had a brief moment this morning while reading the Latest Page...(kind of a completion of a thought and vision that started last night while watching Rachel Maddow)

The RW Fringe is going to do more than just individual crazies, they may even coordinate some kind of "timed bombing/attack" in several places at once (ironic that this is a AlQuieda tactic) I saw things happening in SF (get the gays) Chicago(blacks and Obama's hometown) possibly in NM or FL(to scare the hispanics) all the places have specific groups they are trying to intimidate. This is beyond healthcare...it's like the death throes of the Illuminati or the RW war & corporate machine ...they KNOW they are losing their energetic grip on the mases, and that the fringe is all they have...so they are really pouring the madness energy into that group because their minds are already open to the lower vibrations...

we won't fall into civil war...if anything, something all-out like that will turn MORE people OFF...

Keep holding for Light and Peacefulness to be Brighter and more productive!

18. I also would not be surprised if they gathered together and presented a shocking rebellion

in highly destructive fashion...which would truly sicken the right people, and align more and more folks both against the repubs and with their targets. I dislike it when people suffer in order to further a cause, but evidently on the non-dual side, it's all in Divine Order. Who am I to question (too much...I still think I know better!!! Whee, ego.).

Several years ago I had a PV of some sort of concurrent gunfighting in the streets, and took it to be a possible limited civil war, but it's most likely what you are describing- a limited although multifaceted event as a last gasp. How nice if nothing like that had to happen.

32. D/P: Transitioning and travel dreams...

I have been having very intense dreaming states over the weekend. I got the summer cold fromt he kids and was pretty out of it for the afternons sat/sun from the benadryl...lots oif vivid dreams during those day snoozes and during the nights from thrusday thru this morning...

Though I cannot remember the details of each individual dream, the vivid feeling of traveling and movement is pervasive. I also seem to have been faced with choices to stay put or to move in really drastic directions...and leave people behind in some cases, but buy a house or have my land and my dreams come true in oher ways.

In one dream, the people I was leaving behind (mom/dad/sister...friends of the 'non-enlightened' genre) were in a cave and I was the one venturing out.
I also saw traveling to distant places, that I have never seen before but seemed like home. Northern/british colombis places, redwoods and sonoma wine country like places/ tropical places...and all the moves were intended to be permanent. not vacationing. like I was putting down roots in each quadrant of the earth for the future...

it's really interesting when I have NEVER traveled anywhere outside my state, and the dreams were more about traveling to a place to set up my life than just to visit. which I have never done.
