Mr. Hetero contest finds new venue
The Reverend Tom Crouse held a press conference this morning to announce that his Mr Heterosexual Competition has found a new venue after the the last one cancelled on him in the face of pressure from the gay community. He says free speech is still free, the free market is still a free market and this is still America where you can have events like the Mr. Hetero contest. Crouse says it will be held at Mechanics Hall on February 18th at 6:00 PM, and he says they are very excited about the event. Crouse added that this is fun event to celebrate god's design. Paul Leone, President of the Central Massachusetts Business Council tells wtag the gay community is opposed to the event because Crouse is using a lot of the anti-gay rhetoric for the event. he says that's what they are mainly concerned about and that's what drew their attention to the event. Leone added that the fact that the Reverend will be having an ex gay person stand up in the middle of the program and say that throught the teachings of Jesus Christ he has given up the gay lifestyle is very troubling.

Oh barf! :puke:
Whenever I hear straight guys congratulating themselves on their heterosexuality it reminds me of one of my all-time favorite movie lines (from "Car Wash"): "Honey, I'm more man than you'll ever be and more woman than you'll ever get."

6. It took me a third reading to see Crouse as well
My first thought was, "Crimeny, he must be pretty insecure! What, did bouncing up and down on Oprah's couch and making an ass of himself on national daytime television not convince enough people of his straightness?"

7. I STILL think that a macho GAY man should ENTER this contest
and when he kicks breeder-boy butt pretending to be straight better than the straight boyz, announce to the public that he was GAY all along.

10. Better yet, have him claim being around all those hot male bodies
"turned" him gay. The reverend will think twice about hosting his asinine contest ever again.

12. "god's design"
gotta love that.

The rest of us are clearly the result of Darwin. Hairy ass apes who want to bash each other over the skull and drag their wives around by the hair are god's design.

Darwin did the rest, got us pioneering queers to move out of the caves and into the suburbs, set up a nice little thatched hut, grow some wheat and herd some cattle and set up a daycare service and do everything with FIERCE good taste.

And now those goddamn apes want to have a "Mr. Ape" contest. Well let them celebrate their apehood, it's only fitting.
