4. Yep.
Same damn story as 2000.

If I was a minority in Florida I would be tearing it down right about now.

17. I agree--exit polls aren't shit. They were used for decades until 2000
when they ACCURATELY showed Gore winning Florida.

This is robbery--same as in 2002. The fix was in a few key states. That's all they needed.

Oh, and by the way, who thinks Team Rove is too moral to fix the election?

This is sickening.

9. Diebold!
No way to prove it either. The country will have to ban
paperless machines, repugs just cannot resist manipulating
the numbers.

Do you think FL has enough early voters this time to skew the exit polls?

14. Ohio has Sequoia machines in seven counties.
There are no Diebold machines used to vote in Ohio.

These machines are in minority districts in Columbus. That's why Columbus was still voting at 9:30 at night -- the machines didn't work. They appealed to get paper ballots, and got them, but the Ohio GOP will appeal the ruling that allowed the (urban, probably heavily minority) districts in Columbus to vote on paper. That's why we many not know the real Ohio tally until at least tomorrow. People were still voting for at least two hours past poll closing.

15. According to our journalists in Germany
there are still no credible results from Ohio and Florida. There seems to be a problem with the lack of voting-machines in Ohio.
Our media doesn't have to be better than yours, but our journalists are following all the american news-stations and this is, what was reported just some minutes ago.

Hello from Germany,
Dirk

25. Yes
Cause they managed to steal Florida again? Not just BBV, but the way they ran the polling places.

I'm white. It took me about 15 minutes to vote. To a person, EVERY SINGLE African American/Haitian American/Hispanic I spoke with at work had AT LEAST a 2 hour wait to vote. We had about 15 polling "booths". But they didn't put that many of them in the black areas. This time, they took a lot of care to STOP people from voting at all, instead of worrying about trying to STOP the counting of the votes afterwards. Of course, I don't have access to true county wide problems, etc, just things I heard at work from the people there.

They've been setting this up for 4 years. And I'm pretty upset about it. Because they still managed to steal it, but this time, they were much more clever. This time, they were more sneaky about it and made it look more legitmate.

Maybe tomorrow I'll be less bitter, but right now, it's kind of hard to watch something that I've worked so hard for go right down the tubes because the Bush people are so GOOD at lying and stealing.

28. Yup, I'm with you. And the killer hypocrisy? All the Repubs were
telling the exit pollsters that their number one concern was "moral values."

FUCKING MORAL VALUES! While we rain down death and destruction on Iraqi children, they're fucking worried about "moral values."

If there is a God, I hope She whacks these idiots upside the head.

33. Moral Values
I want to whack them upside the head. How did morality come to include the utter hyprocrisy they have? My older sister voted for Bush "because he's a good, decent Christian man". OMG!!!! If there was a Jesus, he's rolling over in his grave. What happened to "Blessed are the meek", "Blessed are the poor" and "Do unto others"??

How the HELL does any of the fit with the arrogant, mean-spirited attitude we show around the world? Or the "Fuck the poor" attitude we have toward our own people here?

Man, I'm obviously losing my mind. I just do not understand how this election can even be close.

DAMN!! They just called Florida for Bush!! Need to go have a good cry!

31. margin of error?
Exit polls take SAMPLES, meaning that there is an error associated with exit poll results. Florida actual results are actually consistent with the exit poll results, it seems.
