You knew this poll was coming. Didn't you?

In order of appearance

Dodd is up now. Next Clinton then Obama.

7. Two people now
Maybe they have already seen him speak in their magic crystal ball? You know, the one that shows them that every candidate other than Obama is "unelectable"?

13. How could anybody vote untill everybody has spoken
If it's just another popularity contest, why not just go ahead and vote and be done with it. Why pretend.

Their silence, due to being excluded, was the most important thing heard at this dinner.

19. Edwards, Biden, Obama & Clinton about tied (though style points to BO), Dodd, Richardson
Edited on Sun Nov-11-07 12:36 AM by Kurt_and_Hunter
(And I hate John Edwards... but he and Biden exposed themselves personally to *ask* for support, which is most effective in this kind of setting.)

Hillary put on a good show. Biden was relevant. Dodd and Richardson were a snoozer.

42. OK, I'll confess, I cast a vote on faith ...
... that Richardson would not give a speech that I thought was great ... but I promise that I'll watch his speech sometime after lunch is fully digested and before I start making dinner, and put up a sorry if I think he hit it out of the park.

I wish this was an instant-run-off poll, though, because I thought that Obama's speech was also very good.

27. Of The Three, I think Edwards shone the brightest. Of the others, Biden.
I voted Biden -- and I really thought about it -- because I just resonated with him most strongly (which is obviously why I'm a Biden supporter).

There's something about his delivery that just convinces me he's talking person to person, American to American, we're all in this together type of thing.

They all did well, and I'm proud of each and every one!

35. Best to worst: Obama, Biden, Edwards, Dodd, Clinton, Richardson.
Edwards would have been good if it was not the 10th time I had heard him say the same thing.

Obama was very inspiring, and I like Biden's conversation style. It took about 5 mns for Dodd to find his rythm, after which he was good. Clinton was too strident, and Richardson is simply not good at giving speeches. I felt no connection whatsoever with these two.

37. I agree with your lineup too
I don't have a candidate yet, but Obama has really made me start to think.

Biden was good, Edwards pretty good. But Obama has the vision thing going on--something a leader really needs.

Then Edwards.

I had to wait until this morning because I taped the last two speeches. Just couldn't keep these old eyes open long enough to hear Clinton and Obama last night.

(As full disclosure, I have no favorite candidate yet.)
