Well, so am I - See, now I know that better Gun Control laws will be put in place in CA, I know that a Woman's right to choose won't be messed with, and I have some sort of hope that he'll leave same sex couples alone.

Well, yeah, I am too. I mean, it says alot for our Country that even a man who ingests 30+ prescription pain killers a day (without a prescription) is still able to have a Radio show that preaches hate and discontent daily. Pretty sad that the same individual is using his Nazi-like tactics to stop people like Randi Rhodes from syndicating, too. Surely, Mr. Limbaugh doesn't fear the competition. I mean, after all, he does have 1/2 his brain tied behind his back, and his Talent, is, of course, on loan from God. (and Merck, and the Neo-Cons, and PNAC, but i digress)

Isn't President Bush great?

Yes, he is one of the greatest failures in the history of modern elected office. To begin with, he wasn't elected to the office to begin with. I LIVE in Florida, I KNOW what went on here - I was hearing reports of voting irregularities as early as 7:15 that morning. I won't rehash the bogus SCOTUS ruling that has appointed your fearless exalted leader into office - no use crying over spilt milk and all.

Maybe if you Freepers & Rushies read some posts here, you might get a better appreciation for concepts like tolerance, understanding, peace, & appreciation for those that are 'different' from us. Guess what, ALL of us live on this planet - ALL of us suffer from the inane decisions of this administration. Even you guys.. If you continue to live in your right-wing cloud of 'everything's great, Go Bush!'.. then you won't have an ounce of my sympathy when a suitcase nuke goes off in D.C. or something similiar because America remains the 'lets stick our nose in everyone else's business' country for no other purpose than to make the rich, richer.

So, Freepers, Rushites, & various other conservatives - welcome. Read a bit, educate yourselves. Go buy a book like 'The lies of George W. Bush' by David Corn, or perhaps something like Al Franken's new work. Guys, you're being lied to. I realize ALL politicians lie - its the nature of politics. But these lies are going to affect your children & grandchildren as well as my own. Unfortunate, but true.

So, to you, Conservatives, I extend the ultimate olive branch - the olive branch of understanding, of acceptance, and of recognizing that you're not the enemy - just misinformed... but that's ok... you'll catch on - especially once Arnold screws over the GOP in some inane way. Careful what you wish for.

Rush Limbaugh has had to reconsider his motto "Talent On Loan From God" to a more appropriate motto "Talent On Loan From OxyContin." The Dittoheads will also have to change their greeting from "megadittos" to "megadoses." I know and understand how hard it must be for you guys to accept Rush being a hillbilly heroin junky. I mean really, it must be hard to accept this man's word as "Godly" now that we know he's under Satan's control and supports terrorism with his illegal drug activities.

Rush has also been famous for denigrating lawyers at every turn, so didn't you find it amusing to see how quickly he went in search of one, when he learned of this "probe" into his drug addiction? And he didn't choose just any lawyer, he chose Attorney Roy Black who was quoted to say, "but John Ashcroft is no friend of civil liberties or the Constitution." You'll also be interested in knowing that Roy Black's career achievements include the successful defenses of William Kennedy Smith on a rape charge in Palm Beach. Remember when Rush raked this guy over the coals for defending Smith? Isn't it absolutely astounding to see your man Rush now resort to hiring the very man he supposedly despised? I know, your head must be hurting. So is mine.

the postings at freerepublic, if that's what you call it, are extremely short. No new ideas, no interesting philosophy, not even moral or religious discussion in your forums. Just one liners, insults, bigotry, and bad jokes.

It would of been comical if not so alarming. I also noticed a copyright notice at the bottom of every page. Does this mean that everything they post on that web page becomes the property of the owner, and if they try to reclaim it they can be sued?

I would have a slight problem with someone else copyrighting my written thoughts, not that the postings at that website are of any value...
