This "Rolling Thunder" motorcycle group -
that endorsed Bush by "overwhelming numbers"
How many members do they have? I checked their site, seems more like a company than an org. Also, the president works or worked for Exxon.

3. If I was a Viet veteran...
and considering the raw deal this maladministration is giving vets of all stripes, I would be resigning post haste and forthwith.

Quite frankly, I have other philosophical differences with RT. But they are mine alone and have nothing to do with this incident. But I do have a question for those in the know:

Why are they still in business? POWs/MIAs of the Vietnam War seem to be a subject put well to bed. If any are left alive there, the potential is great that they might have decided to remain there upon release. Is it simply a merchandising outfit now, selling black and white flags and name bracelets?

8. It makes NO sense to me.
None.

(Funny the Chimp told them to "ride safe," though. A warning from a loser who can barely manage a bicycle.)

7. Can They Endorse Anyone?
Their site says that they are a non-profit organization. Would not a direct endorsement of any political candidate violate the law?

9. Rolling Dimwits
If they knew anything about Shrub's handling of veteran affairs AND if that was really on their agenda, they would never support VacationBoy.

Methinks they have other issues.

PLAINLY PUT THIS IS WHAT THESE MAL ADJUSTED CRETINS STAND FOR

THE USA COULD HAVE WON IN VIET-NAM

IF HANOI JANE FONDA WOULD HAVE BEEN HUNG IN PUBLIC FOR TREASON

IF WE COULD HAVE KILLED ABOUT 10 MILLION MORE SLOPES & GOOKS

IF THE PRESS WOULDN’T HAVE LOST THE WAR

IF THE ANTI-WAR HIPPIES WOULD HAVE BEEN JAILED, WHIPPED AND KILLED

endorsed Bush, personally.

15. This endorsement makes little sense
Edited on Wed Jun-02-04 03:40 AM by DaveSZ
They endorsed * in 2000 over a Vietnam Vet, and now they are endorsing Chucklenuts again over a highly decorated 'Nam vet who has done extensive work with McCain on MIA issues (and is also a biker).

I'd bet they'd even endorse Bush over McCain as well.

He doesn't have the brains of a can of lima beans and ham. What a clown.

19. Think about it folks.....
The similarity of chimp dressing up in his flight suit and of these clowns dressing up in their biker suits. Grown ups playing "make believe"....... How would I know? I'm a Viet vet & I rode Harleys for 20 years. Trust me, there are many mental children out there playing dress-up in their "wanna be" costumes while making payments on their yuppy-store-bought "choppers".
