My daughter and her SO have just bought a great house. The place is spotless except for the oven and stove-top. Since I have had a self cleaning oven for years, I don't know what to use that might do the job better than the old Easy-Off.
The oven is not too bad but the stove-top is really in need of help. Burned on grunge. They will eventually replace these 2 old units(1960's coppertone)but for now, I get clean up duty. I can take the iron burner grates home and soak in ammonia but the surface of the unit itself is the biggest chore. Any ideas would be a great help.
