To put it bluntly, these people are far more angry at Vick than the LA cops who murdered Black people post-Katrina. Their orgy of hate is fueled by racism and it is so thinly disguised that anyone with the faintest sensitivity to such matters can sense it.

Yes, Vick committed a crime, but he's done his time and paid for his crimes and it's time to move on.

If only middle-class white liberals would value their fellow humans as much as they do dogs - I swear we'd be a far better society.
