The walls of Benghazi, Libya are in many places tagged with revolutionary graffiti. This blog posted a frame of one especially well-done tag a few days ago, of Colonel Muammar el-Qaddafi. And these two drew my eye, too, this afternoon. They are much more simple than the portrait of the colonel, but resonant nonetheless.

The first one, above, is a reminder that however the rebellion fares, and whatever its flaws, at the street level it has an authenticity, and a clarity, that gives it energy.

The second tag, below, also stopped me in place. Whether intentional or an accident, the phrase (properly transliterated in the headline of this post) forms a near perfect double entendre for the uncertain situation here.
