I'm somewhat as the article described. And despite the best of intentions I am not wealthy. And if you are not wealthy what would be labeled eccentric is viewed as abnormal & or worse.
I have a horrid business sense I guess. But I am mechanically gifted & tinker with a small machine shop at home. I have invented dozens of items. When I tried to get help with production or patents I was told "it won't work" yada yada..Then the product surfaces under a new guise or slight design change. I stopped showing anything to "investors"...
