5. Best way to achieve this is to demand it of
all campaigning pols -- new and incumbent and have ballot referendums. Also, try to educate the masses about how the very congress critters who decry BIG gov't are using it to fleece their pockets. I do this one-on-one (nicely) everytime I hear some one complain about BIG gov't.

Exhibit A: in Best Buy looking at electronics, a man (likely teabagger) was complaining about gov't. I chimed in: I know what you mean but the really sad thing is that WE are supposed to be the gov't... We, The People. Instead we have all these idiots in Congress who bad mouth gov't... but think about it... they run for gov't office to get gov't benefits. They get healthcare and pensions paid for by our taxes. And they vote themselves raises. Now ain't that a crime!

I smiled at him the whole time. When I walked away, I looked back and he smiled at me nodding in agreement! That's one light bulb
