Is the continuing meltdown and generational disaster for the Japanese people really the right time to go into this.

Any critique of efficiency or other problems with alternative energies merely highlights the enormous need to move resources into their development -- not just wind but solar and solar-hydrogen and billions for R&D. And an adaptation of the transport system especially, as well as many other measures on the consumption side.

The obstacles at the beginnings of the new energy system do not serve as any kind of basis for yet another irrational told-you-so for pro-nuclear squawking points.
