| 55. At Least They Would Bring The Troops Home |
|
If a Paul/Kucinich ticket got traction with an anti-war platform it would be because Obama failed to end two wars and may have started another.
There is an excellent chance that Paul/Kucinich would bring all the troops home. This is something to think long and hard about.
OTOH, Paul would be likely to use those troops to suppress unions and other progressives when they struggle against the rampant corporate control that a Libertarian regime would unleash on us. Not a pretty picture.
But Obama can easily eliminate any political threat by a Paul/Kucinich campaign. It's easy. Bring the troops home. Get us out of the twin hellholes of Iraq and Afghanistan. Don't get sucked into a war in North Africa. And while he's at it - close Gitmo too. See - easy.
