9. Disagree.
It was a close race between Cutler and Mitchell. What's obvious is 62% did not vote for LePage. I imagine 62% would have voted for either candidate over this clown. There ought to be a threshold of at least 40% to have a winner declared....frankly I think that's low and I'd prefer a numerical majority. If I'm the Republican Party and I know I can't win on a majority vote, I make sure there's an independent in the race to split the other side. I wouldn't have expected either one to drop out, but I'd support a run-off type election where the 2 top vote getters are pitted in an instant run-off.
