41. I haven't seen Gran Torino,but will. Loved to go to Windsor when I was at WSU. Except once.
I'll never forget one time going over to Windsor with my very dear friend Jim (who died young of a sudden heart attack about 15 years ago - I miss him still). Anyway, we were in his '65 Merc and went over for Chinese for lunch while students at Wayne State in about 1971 (give or take a couple years). On the way back, we were detained by the Canadians, who proceeded to rip not just the car, but the ENGINE, as well, apart! Looking for that elusive doobie, no doubt, but it wasn't there that day - we just honestly went over for lunch. Missed the rest of our classes that day, though.

Thanks for reminding me of a really good guy who I miss to this day. We had our adventures. That was merely one of them.
