The money keeps flowing for the 14 Senate Democrats who left the state to keep Republicans from pushing through Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill.

According to the running tally kept at ActBlue.com, more than 20,000 individuals have given $500,000 to the State Senate Democratic Committee, which supports the campaigns of Democratic candidates for the state Senate. That's far more than the fund collected all of last year.

Last week, state Sen. Chris Larson (D-Milwaukee), one of the missing 14 Democratic senators, said he had dipped into the SSDC coffers to pay for one night's hotel stay and may do so again.
