I think if we try to help Libya, we need to be more open-handed than to have the CIA do it in their usual methods. Even if it's for a good reason it's still us controlling and manipulating another country's affairs, other countries don't like that and even the most blindly patriotic Americans hate to face the reality that the American government goes around spying and controlling things.
