126. Actually if they get the right adress
a current generation JDAM could do the job whiteout killing a ton of people OUTSIDE of Kadaffi's hidey hole...

It means getting the adress, your first problem. I do not know how delusional he is, or whether he is changing adresses all the time. If he is doing the latter... then it becomes near impossible. If he is staying put... it is within the capabilities of modern smart munitions.

Even today... you still need a fairly clear day... lasers and bad weather do not mix.

But yes, they could, I just gave you the conditions.

Would that mean that some innocent people will buy it? Probably... I have no idea how many people are still with him who surely cannot leave. That said if all there is still in there are military officers and him.

Where LEGALLY you can into trouble, is that prohibition under US law to target a national leader... Ford signed it... not that this stopped bush from hunting Hussein and missing... see the point about JDAMS and moving.

Yes, sorry I see at things like this in a very legalistic manner... having done humanitarian work for like real, well you had to be conscious of things like this all the time.
