Service men have become a sacred cow. Questioning the opinions of military retirees or even their bad community decisions when they become community leaders is akin to criticizing the military.

I'm convinced that these sacred cows are becoming the new shields for the right-wing agenda. They've been resorting to them since the nineties. Perturbing to me since the right-wing agenda is racist, in general.
