ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE Feb 10 (Reuters) - The White House said on Thursday it was monitoring a "very fluid situation" in Egypt and that President Barack Obama was closely watching as events unfolded in Egypt.

"We're watching a very fluid situation," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told reports on board Air Force One as Obama traveled to Michigan. He said Washington's priority remains an orderly transition to a free and fair election in Egypt.
