if the rich didn't get their tax cuts (PLUS a larger cut than this year with MWP vs. SocSec tax) as part of this terrible "compromise", does not mean that I didn't get shafted so that the rich can go buy another Mercedes.

The campaign promise was not to raise taxes on those making less than $250,000 a year. Not only are my taxes going up from this year to next, but the rich's taxes are going FURTHER down from this year to next.

It's not a "continuation" of the Bush tax cuts, it's a new tax cut for the rich entirely.
