How in hell is that involuntary manslaughter?

It's one thing for LEOs to stick up for each other, but what the hell is it with prosecutors and juries?

Apparently, that shooting is an old story, raked up because of a recent, unrelated, shooting by a BART officer, but geez. If you want justice from our system, don't be poor and/or don't be killed or brutalized by a LEO.

Is it my imagination or are incidents like this increasing? Or are they just getting reported more often?
