Remember that 2008 FISA vote that Obama promised to fix after he became President?

(I can't believe I believed him, though I do specifically recall saying to myself, "But, what if you lose?")

Names of Democratic Senators who did NOT betray us are bolded. I bolded Sanders, though he is an indie, because he does caucus with Dems. Sadly, too many of those whose names I bolded are no longer Senators.

The rest of the Democratic Senators, including Obama, stuck it to us, plain and simple

A word of caution, though. There could have have been some kabuki in the votes because all of the Republicans who were present voted for it, predictably (only McCain and Sessions on the Republican side were not present and only Kennedy on the Democratic side ). So, they did not need that many Democrats voting for it in order to pass it.

Final vote: 69 aye, 28 nay, 3 not voting.
