3. We remain suspicious.
The liberal things seem TOO liberal for the time, historically. An interracial relationship at that time was actually still illegal in several states. The liberal stuff seems contrived to me. Again, too liberal.

Ayers, rather than a terrorist (someone was palling around with) was very likely deep cover in the weather underground back in the day. The FBI and CIA had every single anti-war group under the closest scrutiny.
